You can rip it, shred it, give it to a goat. As long as your name and address is off that paper, you should be safe and your identity will be, too. The reason for all this is with just those two simple pieces of information, a fraudster can get your identity and this is a growing issue.

Making sure your personal information is secure is no joking matter. It should be taken seriously and your identity should be respected. Simply leaving letters and bills and junk mail laying around the house is not a smart move, should any of those documents be snagged if anyone walks into your home. You can’t be too careful, but you can be too sorry.
